A few winters back I got bored because there was "nothing to shoot", so I began these series of shots. I always liked the way the long shadows looked across freshly fallen snow. I imagined the sun as the full moon, and the shadows as being cast at night instead of day. Putting my fingers over the disc of the sun to block it, I would shoot into the sun to have the long shadows coming at me. I then dropped out the daytime sky in Photoshop and added the moon, stars, and glow. Fun stuff.
